How about October 9th for author reading?

Okay. How does that sound?

Thursday, October 9th. Is that a good date for you all to post a reading from a scene in one of your favorite novels?

I think Whirl and Kiersten had said that would be all right.

Hope that's a good date for you all, too! Any takers?

I'll give it a shot but I have had some technical difficulties in the past so it might go tits up again!

I'm in! Janey, if you can get it in a form that emails, feel free to send it to me and I can probably turn it into something that works and I'll send it to you. I'm a magician of sorts.

I'll testify to that, Janey, as I'll be sending mine to Natalie again.

Also, I'm in.

This is gonna be a good one! Janey - please send yours to Natalie- we'd love to hear you, girl. Seriously.

I think paca and ril and freddie are in as well, right guys?

And Chris???!

And how about Sylvia?

Now, if only EE will read as well, especially as this was his idea.

It won't be up until that night, though. Class.

Sylvia, we're really gonna miss you!

Hey paca and freddie - glad you're on board! I'm looking forward to finding out what paca picks, AND, freddie, I've never read the book you mentioned before- but I saw it was on your profile, so I wanna see what you love about it.

I'm tossing around which of two books I'm gonna pick from - The Moviegoer, or Mystic River. Love them both - for absolutely different reasons.

I'll be participating. I've completed my production, and am waiting for the gaffer to to whatever it is gaffers do.

EE, if you need a composer . . .

: )

I believe the Gaffer was Sam Gamgee's father, EE. What he would do for your recording, I'm not sure.

I did mine last night - well, actually, Blondster set it up and I read my bit after she set it up for me. She picks spots of the house to show in the picture. Tomorrow - there will be a chair.

Also, I now realize why I hurry through my readings - she's always a foot tap away, waiting for me to hurry up and get off her Mac. My old Dell has no microphone and is deathly slow - so I need that girl - and I hurry accordingly.

EE- if I'm the gaffer? I'm putting a post up tonight or early in the morning - for everyone to pop on and say when they have their recording ready. So you can then consider yourself gaffed, OK?

Also- freddie would be great at doing your next soundtrack.
