It was happy camper time for mama, seeing these, except for the part where I wondered how in the hell I ever made this child. If you have a minute, please go check the website of this excellent artist, Rachel Reilly, and see some of my baby's pictures from her recent trip to England.

P.S. I tried to make this a click-able link, but failed and succeeded. I'm about to email someone to help me fix this....

Wow. Did she make you cry? If that was my daughter, those pictures would make me cry. Or have a heart attack. Probably both. I'd cry, then have the heart attack. Then beat the crap out of any young guy who stared too long. Then I'd cry again.
Gorgeous! And I can see your genes in there.
Robin, I was prepared to go look at the pics and then tell you of course, she's gorgeous, blah blah, because I have seen pics before and yes she's pretty and I like you and want to appease your perception of your children.
But HOLY COW! Really, how many models can pull off looking that gorgeous with such minimal make-up? (I know, the eyes are done, yadda) My favorite is the grey choker picture.
Somehow she looks beautiful and ladylike /and/ like she's not to be messed with. Definitely your genes.
(oh, and am I the only one who might pay money to see BT cry?)
Oh, my. You must be so proud.
And I agree, if that was my daughter, I'd definitely have BT beat the crap out of any guy who...
Oh my word! She's beautiful and those are gorgeous pictures.
Now look what you've done!
I had the heart attack, then cried.
Your daughter is seriously photogenic.
BT summed it up better than I ever could. Those are beautiful photographs. Just, wow.
Gorgeous pictures. I think you should get some framed!
And that knitted wire jewelry is too cool. That's the sort of tedious project I'd have loved when I was younger. And knitting with beads and thread is hard enough; doing that with wire? Crazymaking!
Wow. I'm speechless!
So glamorous and elegant. SOOO elegant!! I love her hair, and her eyes, and and and!!!
:-)
Thanks, you all! I found out something from a colleague at work today that was pretty embarrassing - I didn't know you could click on each picture and see a larger version.
I would say "when will I ever learn (tech stuff)" but we all know that's most likely close to never, so there ya go.
What's amazing is how much The Blondster has grown up in the past two years. She did a Hair Cuttery commercial a while back - a big, national deal, and looked like a kid. Of course, she WAS a kid. 15.
But still.
Anyway, this last shoot has gotten her another cool job - an up and coming designer in DC wants Lizzy to be part of her trunk show in early fall - people are flying in from all over to come and see this shindig, on the rooftop/party venue of some DC hotel.
She's light years ahead and beyond anything I ever did, which is a very good thing.
Anyway, tonight later on, or tomorrow, i'm gonna do the post about writing that I was gonna do last night, except we received these pictures...
I can't get over how grown-up and stunning and beautiful and striking she looks. I love the designs, too. That photographer found the perfect model in the Blondester (sp?).
