Orwell vs Huxley is one of my favorite topics. We're definitely on the Huxley track to tyranny--the whole absence of silence thing. But Orwell's boot stomping on your face is always there when needed.

It's thought provoking, definitely.
Also, some of today's news organizations could be confused with the Ministry of Truth.
I think Huxley's fears came true in our country, but Orwell's came true in others. Although, I gotta say that for a while there, I felt we were becoming pretty damn close to Orwell's version.
Also, I need to read Brave New World. I had it confused with some book about explorers and Pocahontas.
